Our primary goal is a good joining technology. As a system supplier for joining elements, we have been on the market for over 140 years and offer our customers individually tailored joining solutions over and above DIN/ISO products. The latter are created at our locations in Hagen and Breckerfeld with a large vertical range of manufacture "Made in Germany". Our many years of experience and close cooperation with companies from many industries with virtually innumerable combinations of requirements combine an extraordinary expertise. We contribute this expertise to every project, because something even more special is then created: a good connection to our customers.
Our daily work is aimed at offering our customers specially tailored solutions in joining technology: from the technical, logistical and economical aspect Our extensive experience enables us to follow a holistic approach. This means that we do not only look at the joining task itself, but at the entire process from C-part management to the life cycle of the customer's product. In the process, the individual aspects of what we do come together to form a well-thought-out whole, just as our customers' components do with our joining technology. Synergies in a strong network
The origins of Gevag hark back to 1879, when our first screw and hardware shop with manufacturing was founded named Kuhlhoff & Fressel GmbH. In 1974, the companies Kuhlhoff & Fressel GmbH, Schwelmer Schraubenwerk Gebler & Co. KG and Heinrich Vagedes GmbH merged to form Gevag Schrauben GmbH & Co. KG. Our customers have always approached us with ideas, wishes as well as challenges and benefit from our experience in the production of screws, bolts, nuts and washers as well as from our global partnerships for the optimal procurement of any joining element. Gevag offers all possibilities for optimal supply of desired joining systems – no matter whether standard parts or individual special and design parts for special areas of application.
Gevag GmbH has been part of the Wippermann Group since 2011. As a medium-sized company with a long tradition, Wippermann junior GmbH is one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial chains and sprockets. Also located in Hagen, many spatial, technical and organisational synergies arise. The group of companies employs more than 400 staff. Gevag fosters long-term partnerships with suppliers and processing or contracting companies from the region, thus ensuring stable supply chains as well as sustainable production with short transport routes and fast action options.
